If you’re going to play in only one golf tournament this season, make sure it’s the 8th annual Rotary Classic on August 28, 2010.

As you may know, our annual Golf Classic has become one of the most popular tournaments in the foothills. From the elegant 1920s-1930s golf attire to the fabulous Alta Sierra course, the wonderful prizes and our exceptional awards dinner, it’s the tournament that delivers the most fun.

Our tournament is the only one that encourages players to wear period golf dress from the 20s and 30s. This idea has really caught on, and even though knickers aren’t mandatory, just about everybody now wears period clothes. There are even big cash prizes for the best-dressed man, woman and foursome.

Our Golf Classic is very important to our club. It’s the only fundraiser we have all year. Proceeds from the tournament go to many important Rotary projects and programs throughout our community.

So mark your calendars now, and use the enclosed registration forms to sign up for the most fun you can have with your knickers on. But hurry, we expect this year’s Rotary Classic to sell out.
